Shanpepe Films is a Nigerian film/music production company founded in 2018 by Film maker, and cinephile, John Tumeun, but got fully registered in 2021 with the Corporate Affairs Commissions (CAC) of Nigeria.

Shanpepe Films was founded to create unique, informative and educative content that truthfully represent and promote the African culture, peace and unity and in so doing hunt and horn talents in the field of entertainment. Shanpepe Films have made some short films famous among them is Kathy, written by Professor Ruth Finnegan, a multiple award winning author, and also feature films, both in English and Tiv languages. One of those indigenous films titled Komatii U Kuu (Burial Committee) and others. At the moment, Shanpepe Films is producing a unique story, titled, “No Biscuits in Heaven”, also written by multiple Award winning author and anthropologist, Professor Ruth Finnegan. With time, we intend to partner with large streaming platforms and production studios across the globe to produce and stream stories that will sit amongst the best in the world. We are on a constant look out for partners and sponsors to strengthen the company. Shanpepe Films is very pleased with the kind gesture offered by the Peachtree Village International Film Festival and hope to record great results for all.
